ALPHA COMICS — SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Alpha Comics is always looking for talented writers and artists with fresh, original ideas. We are a creator-owned publisher, meaning you retain ownership of your work.
Please review the guidelines below before submitting. We look forward to seeing what you’ve created!
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Original, creator-owned comics only. You must own the rights to the characters and story you submit.
- We do not accept fan fiction, existing copyrighted characters, or projects you do not have the rights to.
- AI-generated artwork will not be accepted.
- Alpha Comics does not pay traditional page rates. Compensation and profit splits are determined between Alpha Comics and the creative team based on the project.
WRITERS
Please submit:
- A brief cover letter introducing yourself and your project.
- A one-page synopsis covering the complete story, including major plot points.
- At least five completed sequential comic pages that demonstrate your storytelling and writing.
ARTISTS
We welcome samples of:
- Pencils
- Inks
- Colors
- Lettering
- Sequential comic Pages
COVERS & DESIGN
A cover mock-up is encouraged and helps us understand your creative vision. If a project is accepted, Alpha Comics may recommend adjustments to the cover, logo, characters, or overall presentation—but no changes will be made without creator approval.
CREATIVE TEAMS
The team presented with your project should be the team intended to create it. Any major changes to the creative team should be communicated to and approved by Alpha Comics.
FINAL NOTES
We are open to all genres. What matters most is strong storytelling, compelling artwork, originality, professionalism, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Due to the volume of submissions, we may not be able to respond individually to every pitch. If you do not receive a response within 30 days, you may consider the submission declined.
Most importantly: your creation remains yours. Alpha Comics does not claim ownership of your intellectual property simply because you submit it to us.
